Silberberg

A delightful hiking area in the Bavarian Forest awaits you!

The “Silberberg” and its silver mine can be reached in about 20min. from Kaikenried. The “Silberberg” cable car takes you up to 955m and the summit of this Bavarian Forest mountain. Numerous hiking trails allow you to discover the heights of the Bavarian Forest region in winter and in summer. Well-prepared cross-country ski tracks and ski slopes provide an unforgettable winter sport experience!

In the silver mine you can admire over 60 different minerals! An underground lake and the “Silberberg” museum will take you into the breath taking underground world…
