Großer Arber

The highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest is a perfect destination at any time of year!

Along with the “Großen” and “Kleinen” Arber lakes the “Großer Arber” (1.456m) is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Bavarian Forest.

Whether in summer or winter – the “King of the Bavarian Forest Mountains” is spectacular at any time of the year.

Enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna during hikes or Nordic Walking! In winter the “Großer Arber” is one of the most popular winter sport areas in the region.

There are numerous possibilities for winter walking, cross-country skiing, skiing and snowboarding.
